Music and Community Nights - June 19th, July 17th, and August 21st

Join us in our barn on the third Thursdays of the month to relax and enjoy the beautiful summer evenings. Musicians, storytellers, and talented folks of all kinds are welcome to join in. Last summer we sure had a lot of fun, and every night is guaranteed to be different!

  • 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. - Social time and informal acoustic music jam session

  • 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. - Open mic/open stage-style performances

Sign up when you arrive, perform up to 3 songs or share a 10-minute story or other talent! Feel free to attend to just sit back and enjoy as well. Come and go as you need to.

No alcohol and no dogs. Family-friendly songs please. We have some chairs, but you may want to bring one in case we run short. Rain or shine.

Slow Down Days - Saturday, July 26th and Sunday, September 21st

Cliffbrake Farm is a place to slow down, breathe deep, and re-connect to yourself and the land. Come by for this open-house style event, stay as long as you like, and participate in any of the following, rain or shine:

  • 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Slowly explore the easy to moderate self-reflective hiking loop, healing garden, and earth chairs

  • 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. - Nervous System 101 Class – Gather in the barn for an informal talk about how your nervous system affects your health and well-being

  • 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. - Nap Time – Bring a sleeping pad and take a siesta in the barn. Includes tips on taking the perfect nap!

  • 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Nervous System 101 Class – repeat of earlier class

To help plan your visit:

  • While I very much want you to commune with nature, please also be aware that we co-exist with stinging nettle, poison ivy, ticks, and the usual summer bugs at the farm. Come prepared with layers, long pants or whatever usual outdoor gear you need to care for yourself.

  • We will have water and a bathroom available for use at the house/barn area.

  • We will not have food available. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch to have on the land or there will be tables and chairs set up in the barn. Nearby in Leland is the Schellter Bar & Grill and they have burgers and other pub fare.

An RSVP is not required, but it is helpful for our nervous systems to know how many people to expect, so please let me (Deb) know if you are thinking of coming, even the day before is fine. You can e-mail (honeycreekhealing@gmail.com), call, or text (608-712-2951) to RSVP or with any questions.
